Verb: A word that expresses a action or a state of being. Examples: allow, belong, choose, develop etc.
Action Verb: Something a person, animal, force of nature or thing can do or be. Examples: I love cheese. I turned the page.
Linking Verb: Do not show action and connect nouns and pronouns to other information in the sentence. Examples: I am a teacher. I turned green.
